I’m trying to discover peace and relaxation in this new chapter of my life, but my Type A personality and OCD often wrestle against me. I’m in the middle of a job search, determined not to settle for just a paycheck. What I want is fulfillment, urgency, and joy—the kind of energy I’ve experienced in past roles.

For too long, my last position lacked those things. I knew I needed a change, but the security of a stable paycheck kept me from making the leap. Now, circumstances have placed me here—at a crossroads I probably needed. Each morning, I wake up with hope in my heart, and each night, I try to close the day with gratitude.
